This router is a powerful piece of equipment, quite versatile and rugged. The plunge feature is smooth and easy to use; highly ergonomic in design. The fixed base is comfortable and easily handled with one hand using a small round over bit. Instructions are easy to read and follow. The carrying case, however, is large and cumbersome, difficult to store. Looking forward to years of good service from this high quality product.

I’ve been needing a good dependable router to add to my collection of usable power tools. Thank Goodness for the Amazon Reviews to help me in the selection process. Although I am not a professional wood worker, I wanted something capable of more than merely occasional projects. I’ve already used this one and gotta say it is the best and easiest to use router I’ve ever owned. Yes, the case is big – yada yada. But look at all the storage availability inside. Not only does this case protectively nestle the router and both bases, but also has provisions for many different accessories. Allows you to keep your router and all your accessories in one convenient location. Would I recommend it? Hell Ya!

This is the first router I’ve owned, although not the first I’ve used, so interpret my comments in that light. I’ve been impressed with how well-built and easy to use this tool is. The height adjustment works well, changing bases is easy, and all the features seem to work as designed. Changing bits is a two-wrench operation but for my uses that’s not really an issue. The case is sturdy, and has storage for all kinds of accessories, including many that don’t come with the kit. The case is huge, however, so be prepared to give up some serious space in your workshop.

I picked up this router kit on sale for $126.00 with free shipping and no tax. You can not buy even the plunge base for that price. Great tool and an incredible value. Buy it NOW.

I went in to buy a Bosch and found this kit. This is a great tool. I am an intermediate woodworker-it is a hobby of mine. My daughter is a TA in wood shop at her school so maybe it runs in the family. Have used other routers. I love the palm grip. Gives you great control. Changing out the the bases is a snap, no tools required. The other routers I have used in the past require two wrenches to change bits so it was easy on this tool. The micro adjustment for depth works very well. Power switch is right where it should be. First Milwaukee tool for me. Only minor annoyance is that the case is huge. Overall, I am very pleased.

I’ve tested this tool on a variety of materials, it performs as advertised. My project for this tool is to cut in a larger doggie door in an exterior man door that is a foam filled sheet metal construction. I’ve done this before with long metal cutting blades in a Bosch jigsaw, it was a jarring experience. I expect no problems this time. I’m a 37 year experienced cabinetmaker, I own and I’m familiar with virtually all hand-held power tools.

I tried to purchase this produce from the company it self. Can you say SCAM!!! Don’t order it from the dual saw website. No matter what kind of payment options they offer you!! This was easy and pain free and the product itself really does cut through steel like a hot knife through butter.

This device runs and operates exactly as advertised. I cut everything I could think just to be sure. Any professional or serious amateur should have one in the tool kit. On the job site it is the only portable saw needed. Heavy and well made, it should have a long life. Perhaps expensive, but will pay for itself quickly

I received this product as a trial and it did not work right out of the box. I was charged $9.95 for the trial. When I returned the product I was charged another $29.99 for shipping although they gave me some “authorization number” that would have qualified for free return shipping. I basically paid $40 for a product that I did not even have a chance to try. On top of that, this company has one the worst customer service systems. Long wait over the phone once you are calling them for questions about the product. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!!

I had ordered this set for my boyfriend as a valentines day gift and it arrived on time, only HALF of it that is. I was sent double of some items and the rest was missing. As far as the quality goes, I suppose you get what you pay for. If anyone plans on using these tools all of the time I would invest in a better quality set, but if you only use them for rare fixings round the house then its fine. I am sending it back for refund and shopping for a better quality. I just wasted days and now Valentines day is even closer. Guess I will be shopping in a store.

I bought four of these tool kits for graduating senior boys. Of course initially they look at the gift and were quite underwhelmed. However, I have had many kids tell me how much they used them at college or in the car. This kit is great. I love the soft, but tough bag. The tools are great. High quality and a great mix.

My husband is a try to fix things around the house kind of guy. The sons and grandsons are always borrowing his tools and they never seem to get back home. He loved this kit. He says it is everything he needs. And it is going to be hidden in his bedroom closet!

While it may seem like a lot of tools. Its not a particularly good set. Further. Its just a bag, so you have to dump all the crap just in the bag. Its cheap and a decent gift for someone who has not set, but there are probably better ones out there.

As a maintenance supervisor useful hand tools are essential to the job. This collection of tools and its hand carrying care are a blessing. Although the hack saw lacks a little in design, it’s still functional. I would prefer a small blade length, but that can be remedied at your local hardware store. As far as the other tools in this collection are concerned, they work and have so far been very dependable. I highly recommend this collection of hand tools.

This is a very nice little stater set and I was very impressed when I looked it over. Got it on a lightning deal; so it was even more impressive. I’m not rating this as a $2,000 “Mr. Handyman” array; but for what it is, a nice little starter set. It exceeds at that task.

I bought a slightly smaller version of this at Walmart for less than $20. It’s perfect for me at work but not durable enough for my husband’s construction projects. You can get the 24 piece version from Sears (with poor reviews) for $20, $10 less than Amazon’s price. Strange how you can’t find any mention of these kits on the KR Tools website.

I got this set because I needed a few tools for light repairs and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This set has held up for over two years of light wear. Not high quality but not poor quality either. A nice starter set.

I bought this tool set for a niece who moved into her first apt. after college grad. She loves it and uses it continually. She said it was a unique “house-warming” gift that she will use continually. It is feminine too and that was something she liked about it and the tools were sturdy.

This tool kit has all of the hand tools and a few more that a (more likely woman) will need. I have so far found all of the tools to be sturdy and well designed. Upon opening my Apollo Tool Box, I immediately noticed the poor workmanship. All of the tools have a CHINA print or label on them, as the entire kit was Made in China. There are unfinished edges to the plastic pieces (flakes or rough edges). The tools overall have the appearance of coming through a factory line and immediately being put in the box, without a final check. All tools have proved durable (though I have only had this for a month) but the presentation of the tools is surprisingly poor. Perhaps the appearance is of no concern to some, but if given as a gift, this tool box may look “cheap” due to the workmanship.

This kit makes a great gift for a young woman on her own, and includes just about everything she’ll need for minor repairs, hanging pictures, and setting up her own household. The addition of hangers and various nails and brads is great! The tools are well-made and should serve her well for years. The whole thing is a great value, too.

This tool box has been great. It arrived right before I moved to a new apartment and was invaluable in taking apart my Ikea furniture and pulling out wall mounts for shelves and pictures. The cordless electric screw-driver is an excellent addition, although a manual one would also have been nice.

Stanley 94-248 65-piece General Homeowner’s Tool Set Review
If you’re just a normal person who uses a telephone to call a repairman more often than a tool set, this one is perfect. It has everything, and it feels solid and will hold up perfectly well under easy use. The master handyman had better upgrade a bit. Closing the top without pieces falling out is an art that can be mastered.

Stanley is definitely a descent brand and this tool set is pretty enough for everything i need. The only thing I want to complain a little is you need t a screw driver to open this tool set. (If I had a screw driver, I may not need to buy a tool set!) Other than that, that’s all fine!

I bought this kit to keep in the house and avoid having to run to my larger tool chest in the garage when I need a couple of basic tools. In general, the tool quality is good for general household use, and I really only have two complaints about the kit. The first that is that the ratchet is basically junk (but what can you really expect for $43?). It’s O.K. for light duty work, but don’t expect to crank on it very hard without it breaking. If you think you’ll need this tool often, consider buying a higher quality ratchet and socket kit. The other issue that I have is that there are no wrenches included in the kit. I plan on picking up a cheap crescent wrench to add to mine. (Come on, Stanley, increase the price a few bucks if you have to, but make this a complete kit by adding a crescent wrench!) Finally, the plastic box that the tools come in is nice from the standpoint of being able to quickly locate a tool, but the box takes up a lot of storage space. I bought a small tool bag to keep the tools in, and I found it more convenient. You have to look a little closer to find the tool you want with the bag, but there aren’t enough pieces in this kit to create problems finding tools.

This product did not perform as well as demonstrated on TV–as is the case with most of these types of items. Rather than making a continuous caulk line, you had to stop and clean the applicator frequently or else the caulk spilled out over the applicator. I used it on a large caulking project and while it made the job easier than doing it with your finger, it was not as good as I had hoped.

I’ve tried spoons, cardboard edges, and my fingertips. What I like about this product is the silicone does not stick to the edger when wipe off right away. It gives you several groove sizes, but I used the small size to make it look tighter. A thumbs up from a weekend fix-er-upper guy.

I finished doing the caulking on my bathtub. When we bought this house over eight years ago, we didn’t realize what we were getting ourselves into. The lady who had owned it previously did the WORST construction on the home. She did it in the cheapest and the easiest way (not always best!!!) possible. It took me three hours total to get the caulking off (I did it in a few days, not in one night) because there was layer upon layer on the bathtub. It didn’t take me long to caulk the bathtub. It took about 45 minutes. Just be sure to just caulk a little bit at a time, take your time, and you will have a beautiful final result! I used a warm, damp wash cloth to clean up as I went because if it dries, it’s a pain to get off without damaging the caulking you JUST did. I would recommend this product to anyone!

I am normally rather leery of products I see advertised on TV, especially tools like this. My wife surprised me with this set as a Christmas gift, and as I did need to do some caulking around some sinks in the bathroom, I decided to put it to the test. I was rather impressed with the ease that I got the job done using this set. Both sinks took a total of only 20 minutes, including the time to open the package, prep the area, and clean up. If there is a catch it is only that you have to be aware of the angle you are holding the tool, and to make sure you keep it square to the work surface. This only takes a small amount of practice, and once I got the hang of it, the project was done in only a few minutes. Clean up of the tool was only a matter of wiping it off with an old rag. I recommend this tool for anyone needing a simple way to get clean caulking lines.

I will be using it eventually, I’m sure. Only drawback to this type of disk is that it tends to clog and it is necessary to run it over some cement to clean it out.

We are currently repainting our house and 3 other buildings so we got a PaintEater. This tool is the best we have ever used to remove the old, peeling paint. It is so much better than sandpaper and lots faster. We have used up 3 heads so far with all the buildings and we couldn’t have done it so quickly without this tool.

I love this product. My daughter wasnt doing so good in math class.. As soon as i got this chalkboard paint, i wrote out math problems on the board before i went to work so she can work on them on her spare time. (She is five so this chalkboard caught her attention). She does it everyday plus she uses the door to do her homework. She loves it, i love it. Its easy to paint on and clean off the chalk.

This stuff works, just make sure your surface is smooth. For a wall that has been painted several times, perhaps by cheap labor before you owned the home, you should heavily sand the area of wall you intend to paint and maybe even coat it with plaster to get a new wall surface. If it’s rough you can’t really write/draw anything small and it’s really hard to erase.

I was very pleased with this product. The price was a little high but was worth it considering the price of buying a new chalkboard. I took a half inch piece of plywood that was 4×8 and primed it with white primer twice. Then I painted it with the chalkboard paint twice and waited 3 days. It works great and the kids love it!

After a short learning curve. The machine worked well and is much lighter then other machines owned. The pad works great. The pad can be aggressive to wood but a acquired feel allows good control. You might want to start in an out of the way spot not the front door. It similar to a pressure washer, used properly it is a great tool, but misuse can damage the surface. My only negative is the switch which should de-energize when unplugged.

Excellent for stripping old paint but needs a steady hand to avoid gouging into the material being sanded. The manual says for outdoor use only. I used it inside. It works fine but you will make a rather large mess due to the dust it kicks up. I recommend a little practice before stripping “the real thing”.

I was really concerned about the wide range of opinions on this tool, but I had a tough job and needed any help I could get. I wish I hadn’t spent the money on this. I was using it to strip off peeling, chipping paint from a bedroom with 1960’s wallboard. It was very difficult to keep steady on a flat surface. It would easily dig in to the wallboard, and also left circular marks. The only way to avoid damage was to have a very light touch, which didn’t help to remove the paint. I think it might work better on hard wood or metal, but they will need to develop different types of pads for different material.

I’m a pro painter and was looking for a better tool for removing paint. I often use a grinder with carbide teeth to remove multiple layers of old alligator or cracked paint where you really want to remove everything to the wood. The “paint eater” is not the tool for those really tough jobs. It does seem appropriate for knocking off a layer or two of loose paint and feathering edges. Much better than hand scraping or orbital sander. Decent tool for the price on light duty work.

Bought this to prep 20 year old cedar siding for repainting. It had not been painted for at least 7 years. The PaintEater made quick work of what could have been quite a scraping project. I did go through 2 discs in the process. But for the square footage I covered, that was not excessive. Use the disc’s edge when the disc is new (and thickest) to scrape the lower edges of the siding. It is noisy and produces a lot of dust. It does take some practice to get the best feathered edges. If the unit begins to wobble as you strip/sand, resist the temptation to press harder. Instead, ease off the wall surface and then press down. That seems to regain control faster.

I just received my Steam Cleaner today and already I’m impressed. It has far exceeded my expectations in just one day. I cleaned my SOFA, BATHROOM TILE, FORMICA and BBQ GRILLE. Seemed like I just couldn’t stop once I got started. Haven’t cleaned this much in one day in… well, I don’t know when. I had thought about buying one of the more expensive ones but thought I would give this a try first. Boy, I’m sure glad I did. I couldn’t believe how hot the steam gets. I do wish it had just a bit more power. Also, there seems to be a bit of water seepage from the nozzle, but not too bad. I also cleaned a few dirty spots on my carpet that I couldn’t even get up with cleaner. You have to blot the moisture away with a clean cloth as you go, but it took out the stains without any scrubbing which has a tendency to damage your carpet. I can’t wait to use it to detail my car. And my husband seems to always need my help cleaning his motorcycle, even though I refuse to ride it with him. None the less, can’t wait to see what kind of damage I can do with my little yellow machine on those wheels. Also have some wallpaper to remove, which is primarily why I bought it in the first place. For the price, I think this little machine is worth the money.

This steamer works good on tough wallpaper, if your not in a hurry. I’m a small remodeling contractor and I’m happy to have the Wagner on demand steamer. The pressurized steam is great for getting into tight spaces. I have used the steamer mostly for wallpaper removal. If you have a large job, over 600 square feet, I would recommend renting a “commercial” steamer. If you have the time this steamer will do the job. Keep a bucket and pan(9×12) close by to catch the excess water. It shoots out water if you let it sit for a few minutes, so keep a bucket close. The extensions are useful. It steams up fairly quick. This makes it great for cleaning up spills or small bits of glue and paper left behind. I’m glad I chose this type of steamer over a non-pressurized steamer.

Wow! I have battled light colored tile grout for 3 years. This steamer did a great job of blasting the dirt right out. I have used it on tea stains in my car, tile, linoleum (even got the dirt out of the grooves), stove, shower, toilets etc… I am very pleased. I do agree with another reviewer’s recommendations to wear ear protection when using the small attachments – it is loud. Using the mop attachment is not a problem. This is a much better option than a steam mop and not much more expensive. I love how much I can get done with one fill up and it is so much more versatile and powerful. This is the best cleaning product I’ve bought myself. Every once in awhile I buy something that actually works.

I bought this item to remove wallpaper, but found another really handy use for it. Recently, I moved a lot of furniture in my home and there were annoying carpet indentations from where the furniture smashed down the carpet. I tried vaccuumming and even a carpet washing machine to fluff up the carpet with little result. We ran across this by accident on the web. It saved us hours on this last painting project! The paint went right on, like in the video, and was especially impressive along the ceiling. Like other reviewers have mentioned, you still have to manually cut in at the very corners, but that wasn’t a big problem. The brush adjuster was nice for our textured ceilings. The pole wasn’t tall enough for our ceilings, but the screw mount on the handle fit onto another painting pole we had in the garage. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Accubrush is truely amazing! I have tried all the edgers on the market. The Accubrush WORKS. It almost, eliminates the use of a ladder when edging celings and walls. (It leaves about a 4 inch gap when you reach the corners and floor, which you need to do by hand.) It saved me hours of time on my painting project. Advise, go slow until you get the hang of it. Do easy to reach places before using on the celing. It is worth every penny.

I wasn’t able to get this to work like I had hoped. The metal guard left a black line on my wall and the color I was painting with was to light to cover it. That said, one would wonder why I still gave it four stars. The company was always quick to respond, and they did their best trying to get it to work for me and in the end took it back with no questions asked. The black line could have been that the old paint was on the abrasive side, yet they didn’t resist a refund one bit. Just remember to add a little water to your paint so it doesn’t clog. Also, make sure you keep moving the head or you’ll get runs in the wall. I painted several rooms in record time. Remember that overspray will get everywhere so make sure you mask everything. We were lucky because the rooms were empty and we were changing out the carpet. I also bought the attachment that lets you swivel the spray head. This makes life easier. I also didn’t think the cleanup was too bad. I ran water through the sprayer and then washed everything down. You should then use a liquid they sell for storage that you run through the unit.

I used to paint professionally and have used professional sprayers. Now, many years later, I needed to stain (Sherwin-Williams solid color exterior oil stain) my house. I was very surprised how well the sprayer worked. Stains are notorious for streaking, but I had no problem fading in new strokes. The price was about the cost of rental, so I basically got it for free. Cleaning is not much fun, but hardly unbearable. Cleaning effort is reasonable for occasional homeowner use for big jobs. My biggest gripe is that in the manual, it says not to use industrial enamels. This wipes out my use for my favorite Sherwin-Williams Industrial Enamel – a rock solid paint, as well as Sherwin-Williams Duration which is thick as molasses. This is a MAJOR GRIPE because you should see this kind of limitation in the product’s ad, not buried in the instruction manual after you buy. Overall, this is not a heavy-duty machine, so I would never consider it for pro or commercial use. If you plan to use it every few years, it seems a great deal. It is lightly made as is typical of consumer stuff these days. Spray volume is not huge, but many people could not handle the volume of a pro machine anyway. One final note. When I first went to use it, it would not work. I dumped out the stain, then gently poked a screwdriver into the inlet, depressing the ball. The inside filled with stain. I started and it ran fine and has been fine since. That little trick may save you a return!

I must concur with the other reviews on this sprayer. It paid for itself on one job. No clogs and an even pattern.This item was probably one of the best values for the price and performance I have ever purchased. Cleanup – as with any airless – is a pain but went very smoothly with this sprayer. Next time I’d definitely use the cover to keep the paint moist on the inside to facilitate cleanup. A real Champ!

I purchased the reconditioned paint crew to paint the exterior of my house. Had difficulties getting it to prime the first time out of the box. Took the valves apart and lubricated, put it back together and primed it with water. After that, it worked great. I purchased a swivel for the gun which is highly recommended. This thing puts on a lot of paint, I had trouble with runs and sags, so I purchased a smaller tip that seemed to work better with the latex I was spraying. Cleaning is pretty straight forward, but it does take probably 45 minutes if you do a nice job. So, you need to have a pretty big project to make it worth the time to set it up and clean it when you’re done. I’ll tell you what though, for around a hundred bucks, you really can’t go wrong. The unit I received looked essentially brand new with many obviously new parts and new packaging. After the first time you use it, you won’t be able to tell the difference between a new and a reconditioned unit.
